For use in the back of hang on filter but can be used with bucket filters as well to seed new aquarium and resist new tank syndrome. I am replacing mine with different material so I thought I’d sell this so someone else can have instant cycle. It’ll come in a bag with a little water but not submerged because bacteria needs oxygen. cycled filter material Active cycled sponge filter Do not let it dry out and also put air through it immediately by putting it in tank before it dries out or in a cup with an air stone to keep bacteria alive, do not rinse in tap water or it’ll die, ghost feed bacteria if there are no fish or plants with dying leaves.
